We Care

The association has organized fundraising events to help victims of calamities in the Philippines through the National Red Cross, supported community organizations such as “Walk to Cure Cancer”and the Local Massachusetts Food Bank.

The CMFAA has more than 100 member families throughout New England. Through our members’commitment,
we are able to give back to the community while providing a social and cultural experience unique to the Philippine community.

I didn’t actually realize how a perfectionist life I have been living until my body forced me to slow down my pace. I’ve always been a super busy person, a go getter to be able to provide for myself and my family. And that’s just the way I am. I find it really hard to say no to things and ask for help. But going through the ups and downs of life I have learned TO BE STRONG TO STAND ALONE, SMART ENOUGH TO KNOW WHEN TO NEED HELP AND BRAVE ENOUGH TO ASK FOR IT…sometimes it’s ok to ask for help…sometimes its ok to tell them yes I have fallen, I was wrong, I made a mistake, I have nothing, I was challenged but hey, because I AM STRONG and have the love and support of my family and friends I was able to SURVIVE!!! My cherished collection in life has been moments of falling down and getting up. Happiness is being able to surpass and be positive in spite of and despite of what life brings…So now, even with cancer I am still thankful for without it I wouldn’t slow down, I won’t be able to realize what life is all about…it’s beauty is not in WHAT you have…but WHO you have! My heart felt thanks to all of you who support me in prayers, in kind and financially…I AM SO BLESSED TO HAVE YOU…
